Is it cheaper to call a local florist? September 2, 2024 20:41

Calling a local florist directly, who is in close proximity to the delivery point, will be cheaper as the florist will have sourced locally grown flowers, therefore cutting out overhead cost such as middle man/wholesalers and flower freight charges from the market/grower to  the shop. These costs are usually added into your product purchase.  The local delivery charge maybe cheaper or even FREE depending on distance traveled from the shop to the delivery address. Most florists will have to calculate into your purchase the travel time, driver wage and petrol consumed to cover the the distance.
You will skip these when buying locally and get a better deal.
